The Dopplex® SD2 Bi-Directional Doppler
The Dopplex® SD2 Bi-Directional Doppler by Huntleigh is a state-of-the-art medical device designed to provide bi-directional blood flow information to vascular professionals. It includes a display of flow direction and is compatible with all XS high sensitivity vascular probes. High Sensitivity Probes
The Dopplex® SD2 is compatible with all XS high sensitivity vascular probes. These probes have been calibrated and fine-tuned for optimum use. The device offers five probes for vascular examinations:
4 MHz Vascular Probe for deep lying vessels
5 MHz Vascular Probe for deep lying vessels and oedematous limbs
8 MHz Vascular Probe for peripheral vessels
10 MHz Vascular Probe for specialist superficial applications
EZ8 8MHz "Widebeam" for peripheral vessels
Bi-Directional Blood Flow Information
The Dopplex® SD2 provides bi-directional blood flow information. This feature gives the clinician objective evidence to assist in the diagnosis of vascular disease. The device's algorithms optimize the presentation of waveforms and enhance the quality of sound using a unique Dynamic Digital Noise Reduction (DDNR) system and gel filter.
Connectivity and Charging
The device includes a USB port for convenient charging and communication with software. It also features a stereo headphone connection socket.
Data Storage
The Dopplex® SD2 offers data storage on a micro SD card. This allows for the storage of waveforms and sounds for review or transfer to the optional Dopplex Vascular Reporter software package for printing reports and archiving.
